Charles William Daniel (1871-1955) was a maverick free-thinker whose tiny publishing house had august links with many of the most influential thinkers and movements of the 20th century. This book is great addition to my flower essences books. It provides real cases and how the flower essences helped these patients get better and have a more enjoyful life. It describes each essence in detail with an emphasis on personality of that type essence, followed by a bunch of real case studies.
Great book. It has a number of cases that present the use of the remedies and best combinations for the patients. I would think that being the year 2014, the flower images can be updated to color and more current photographs. That is the only downside.
The Bach Flower remedies deal with the emotional aspects of illness and the need to heal. Great resource.
Big like for all those old cases. Learned a lot!
Rudolph Ballantine, M.D., in his new book, Radical Healing (an outstanding work) states is well: "... this well-worn volume is still my favorite reference for the English essences. It accurately reflects the 'generic' nature of the Bach remedies, whose scope seems to be broader than the many more specific remedies now available." Personally, I love Chancellor's work and feel my health library is not complete without it. Chancellor uses language precisely and describes each remedy in concise detail.
