I thought I was paying for a full size book and ended up with an overpriced booklet of recipes that are easily found on Pinterest. Save your money and just type "Young Living Make and Takes" into the search bar of Google or Pinterest and you'll have more recipes than you know what to do with - and it will be free.
Received this in the mail today. Was a little shocked that I paid nearly $15 for what is essentially a booklet. The section at the beginning that talks about how to host a make & take class? Get your glasses because my goodness... she crammed as much info as she could onto 2 pages and it sure makes it difficult to read. Also, this booklet is so small that even if I fold the pages completely backwards, it absolutely will not stay open. Not very conducive to following along with a recipe. I will likely take a photo of the recipe with my tablet so I am able to follow along without always losing my page.
Excellent book to have and to gift . Love the cover , the pics inside , all the very detailed recipes for Make and Take . Great tool to have to pass on to customers if you are an Essential Oils Distributor . Thanks Jen and Amazon for giving it to us for a great price .
I do a lot of DIY recipes, own several books and have a million things pinned. But these ones, they are perfection - very "do-able" without too many ingredients or too many crazy steps. A wonderful balance of a newbie meets Martha Stewart. Plus the guide to help you figure out which recipes to offer if you are doing this as a group is extremely helpful. This would have saved me HOURS of research finding and testing recipes. If you are interested in replacing items in your home with more natural alternatives or looking for some super-fab and easy gifts, you really can't go wrong here. Love!
Thanks to Jen's recipes I have now replaced my toothpaste, deodorant, body cream, foot cream and face cream with her recipes all of which can be found in this book or on her FB page The Human Body and Essential Oils. Chemical free is so important to our family! Thanks Jen!
This book is exactly what I wanted! It is full of practical, yet FUN recipes that look easy to make. It has recipes for everything from personal care products, baby products, cleaning products, & a candle making project. I can't wait to make a lot of these products - whether for make & take classes or just on my own to give as gifts. I can't wait to make some of the recipes for babies to give as gifts to new moms! Knowing that all the recipes call for safe ingredients is such a wonderful alternative to the chemically laden products on store shelves. Now I have the ability to make these great items in my own home! Thanks Jen O'Sullivan for putting health & fun at our fingertips! I'm pretty disappointed in this purchase. There are only 2 pages written on actually hosting make & takes, and the 2 pages are full of careless typos. The book doesn't speak to any individual make & take, just the topic in general, plus recipe possibilities, which I just didn't find very helpful. Overall, I do not feel like I got my moneys worth with this purchase, and if my dog hadn't knocked the book in the bathtub, I would be returning it.
Very small, completely geared towards people involved in multi level marketing. Recipes are okay but not super unique.
